You'll Find Out (1940)
Kay Kyser and his band are hired to provide music for Janis Bellacrest's 21st birthday party at the Bellacrest mansion. Among the guests are Judge Mainwaring, Prince Saliano, a medium, and Professor Fenninger. Janis narrowly escapes death during a seance conducted by Saliano. Kay and the band investigate and discover that Saliano, Fenninger and Mainwaring are plotting to murder Janis for her inheritance. During the next seance, Kay exposes their plan, and the trio is killed in an explosion they had planned for the guests.
