Swiss Family Robinson (1960)

The Robinsons are on board a ship fleeing from the oppressions of Napoleon and heading for a new life in New Guinea. Pirates chase their ship into a terrible storm and the ship runs on the rocks. The captain and crew abandon the Robinsons to fend for themselves. Sighting land, they build a raft and take supplies with them. Resigned to life on an island, they build a treehouse where they settle down to their island existence.
