Evergreen (1934)

Harriet Green, a music hall star, has a secret child born out of wedlock. She flees to South Africa to raise her daughter in secret. Years later, her daughter returns to London and a cunning publicity man convinces a producer to cast her as the original Harriet Green, who is miraculously untouched by age. This deception leads to complications when the public believes the younger Harriet is the elder and the publicity man is her son. To complicate things further, Harriet and the publicity man fall in love in secret.
