It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963)

As Smiler Grogan nears his death, he reveals the location of a stolen fortune to a group of individuals. The group, unable to come to an agreement on how to divide the loot, sets out independently to find the buried cash. Unbeknownst to them, they are being watched by the police. As they finally gather at the location of the money and unearth it, they are arrested by Captain Culpeper, an old and disenchanted police officer. However, Captain Culpeper takes the money for himself and flees, but ultimately loses it during a pursuit.
