Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954)

Creature from the Black Lagoon

An expedition ends in failure, but they leave with a fossil from tens of thousands of years ago. Dr. Reed studies the piece and becomes convinced that it could be evidence of a missing link between life in the water and on land. He and another scientist, Mark Williams, venture into the Amazon to uncover its secrets, unaware that a single specimen from the Devonian Period still exists. Meanwhile, the creature becomes increasingly interested in their female companion, Kay Lawrence.
