Maker of Men (1931)





The story revolves around Jack Holt, who is the football coach of a university that has suffered two consecutive seasons of losses. To turn things around, Holt compels his son, Richard Cromwell, to join the team. Unfortunately, during a crucial game, Cromwell's subpar performance leads to their defeat. Disheartened by the loss, Cromwell transfers to a rival institution, where he ends up competing against his father's team and emerges victorious.
