Sequoia (1934)
Toni and her father live in the Sequoia forests of California. Toni discovers a puma, 'Gato', and a fawn, 'Malibu', while walking. The three animals become friends, which goes against nature's rules. They are returned to the wild after a few years, but when Toni and her father return, they find that the animals are in danger due to logging, hunting, and their neighbor Bergman's hunting parties. The survival of Gato and Malibu depends on their ability to adapt.
