Greta Garbo - Two-Faced Woman

Melvyn Douglas, Greta Garbo - Two-Faced Woman

Larry Blake, the publisher of a news magazine, goes on vacation to a ski resort where he meets and marries Karin, a ski instructor. Larry promises Karin that he will give up his life in New York and the two return to the city separately. Larry's ex-girlfriend, Griselda Vaughn, tries to win him back, causing Karin to feel inadequate. In order to compete with Griselda, Karin pretends to be her own twin, a sophisticated and worldly woman. Larry realizes that it is really Karin in disguise and tries to get her to reveal the truth. After they make love, Karin realizes that her plan has failed and returns to the ski resort. Larry follows her and they are reconciled when he proves to her that he knew about her disguise.
