Wild Oranges (1924)

Charles A. Post, Virginia Valli - Wild Oranges

Millie Stope and her grandfather live on a secluded island, where her grandfather sought refuge for political reasons. However, they are being terrorized by an escaped prisoner, Nicholas, who has taken an interest in Millie. John Woolfolk, a man still grieving the loss of his wife, is sailing aimlessly on the ocean when he happens to anchor in the bay of the island. He soon discovers the danger on the island and falls in love with Millie, who sees him as a chance to leave the island. But Nicholas has threatened to harm Millie if she tries to escape and has learned of her plans.
