Tightrope (1984)
Clint Eastwood plays Wes Block, a detective investigating a series of murders in New Orleans. All murdered women are prostitutes killed by one sexual obsessed serial killer. After a prostitute is being murdered after a visit of Block, he becomes a suspect himself.
On his search Block meets Beryl Thibodeaux (Genevieve Bujold) a rape prevention officerleader. After a while they become involved and search together for the murder. This together with the thought that the killer shares the same fantasies with Block complicates the investigation.
