Malaya (1949)





John Royer, a newspaper reporter and adventurer from the Far East, convinces his former publisher and Washington officials to execute a plan to acquire desperately needed rubber under the watchful eye and weapons of the Japanese invaders. To aid in the execution of the plan, Carnahan is released from prison. The Dutchman explains the details of the plan. Royer and Carnahan travel to Southeast Asia and begin shipping out rubber. During the final and third shipment, Royer is killed, but despite being injured, Carnahan successfully gets the shipment out and kills the Japanese officer who attempted to stop them.
