The Island of Dr. Moreau (1977)
1911. Two survivors of a shipwreck are cast ashore on a Pacific island owned by Dr Moreau, who is experimenting on changing animals into humans. One of the seamen, Andrew Vraddock, meets the beautiful Maria, one of Moreau's 'guests'. She tells him she can never leave the island. It is the beginning of a nightmare.
