The Bigamist (1953)
Another thoughtful Ida Lupino film dealing, with care and competence, with a social problem, resulting in a serious, adult and most interesting movie. The story of a man who, trapped in the first case by loneliness, but later by a kind heart and a sense of honour, marries bigamously the girl who is going to bear his child, is found out and made to pay. 1
