The Cat and the Canary (1927)
Paul Jones (Creighton Hale) does his best as he tries to find out what is going on and protect cousin Annabelle (Laura La Plante) from a mysterious criminal. La Plante is the canary who has inherited an eccentric millionaire’s estate (at midnight, no less) if she can prove she is not insane; otherwise the money goes to an unnamed someone else.
