Vera Reynolds, Gloria Swanson, Theodore Roberts - Prodigal Daughters

Elinor "Swifty" Forbes and her sister Marjory are the daughters of wealthy J. D. Forbes. Their mother allows them to live a carefree lifestyle among the flapper set. Lester Hodges, a songwriter, is in love with Marjory, while Garside, who runs a card room, is interested in Swifty. When Swifty is gambling at Garside's place, she meets Roger Corbin, who works as an engineer at her father's business. He falls in love with her. When Mr. Forbes objects to their behavior, they move out. Marjory marries Hodges but eventually leaves him and returns to her parents. Swifty, who has gotten into debt from gambling, agrees to marry Garside. However, during a café raid by prohibition agents, Corbin, who has been looking for Swifty, helps her escape and the two are reunited.
