Under Two Flags (1922)
Victor, an English nobleman, joins the French Foreign Legion in Algiers under a false identity. He catches the eye of Cigarette, a French-Arab girl, who falls in love with him. However, Victor only has eyes for his true love and doesn't return her affections. Angry at first, Cigarette's feelings change when she learns of Victor's past and the name of his beloved. She decides to protect him from the plots of Sheik Ben Ali Hammed and warns the troops ahead of the Arab attack. She dies in Victor's arms after saving him from execution. Meanwhile, the Princess Corona learns of Victor's true identity and helps clear him of any wrongdoing.
