The Constant Nymph (1928)

Ivor Novello, Mabel Poulton - The Constant Nymph

The eccentric expatriate composer Sanger passes away in his home in the Austrian Alps, leaving his daughters without any financial support. Lewis Dodd, a young composer and long-time friend of the family, falls in love with their cousin Florence when she arrives to take the girls back to England. However, Sanger's daughter Tessa has feelings for Lewis as well, and when she escapes school to live with Florence and her husband, their already-fragile marriage is further destabilized.
