Dance with a Stranger (1985)
Seperated from her husband, Ruth Ellis lives with her son over the cocktail club where she works. One night at the club, her friend and would-be protector, Desmond Cussen, introduces Ruth to David Blakely, a racing driver. Ruth and David begin a torrid affair, which is to lead to an act of violence that creates British legal history.
