The story is told through three different simultaneous stories. A senator wants to convince a journalist of the need for a secret military operation in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, a college professor warns a student manages to retain his critical attitude, whereas two of his students who volunteered for the army in Afghanistan, are victims of the operation.
