The powerful but arrogant warrior Thor is cast out of the fantastic realm of Asgard by his father Odin for his arrogance and sent down to Earth to live among humans as Dr. Donald Blake. Deprived of all his divine attributes he has to learn humility and obedience. Falling in love with scientist Jane Foster, Thor learns much-needed lessons, and his new-found strength comes into play as a villain from Asgard sends dark forces to invade Earth. Hammer-wielding Thor will learn what it takes to be a true hero in order to save mankind.
