The Fly (1986)
Veronica joins Seth at his laboratory where he is introducing his new invention, a teleportation device that can move any inanimate object from one place to another. Intrigued by the technology, she decides to go to his place to check it out. As they spend more time together, they grow close. Seth becomes determined to test his device on animate matter, however, his experiments with baboons prove to be disastrous. Despite the setbacks, Seth is convinced that he has solved the problem and decides to test the device on himself. However, as he enters the pod, he realizes that a common housefly has joined him, adding an unexpected twist to his experiment.
