Caught (1931)

Calamity Jane, a rough and tough saloon and gambling joint owner who runs a cattle rustling operation, hires a naive but beautiful young woman to work as a saloon girl. Surprisingly, Calamity Jane discovers her maternal instincts when she takes the girl under her wing. However, her newfound maternal feelings are put to the test when a troop of US army cavalry arrives to clean up the town. The young lieutenant in charge of the troop falls in love with the girl, and Calamity Jane may know a secret about the lieutenant that could change everything.
