Captain Lash (1929)
McLaglen saves svelte society type Windsor from a scalding in the stokehole of a ship, and she rewards him by having him smuggle some stolen gems ashore, His pal Cook substitutes coal for the stones, getting McLaglen in serious trouble with Windsor's confederates.It's nothing the big bruiser can't handle, though, as he singlehandedly mauls the entire mob. The crooks are apprehended and the gems are returned to their rightful owner.
