Miles, the owner of a health food store, is killed by medical incompetence during a minor operation and is cryogenically frozen. He is revived 200 years later by doctors who are part of an underground resistance movement. They want Miles to infiltrate the mysterious Aires Project, which is controlled by their oppressive government. During his mission, he falls in love with Luna, an innocent woman. Posing as her robot butler, he convinces her to join the rebellion and join the radical leader Erno. Miles discovers that the head of state is dead, and that the Aires Project was a scheme to use his only remaining body part, his nose, to clone a new dictator.
