The Little Soldier Man (1915)
When Mildred's uncle visits America, he brings her a well-made soldier doll, which becomes her beloved companion, much to the annoyance of her friend Paul. One day, in a fit of jealousy, Paul steals the doll and hides it in his own bureau. However, the doll manages to escape and Paul chases after it, but the doll reaches Mildred first and they elope. They get married before Paul arrives, but he catches up and attempts to stab the doll with his father's sword. Paul wakes up from this dramatic dream and finds the doll safe in his own bureau, where he snuggles up and falls back asleep.
