De rouille et d'os (Rust and Bone) (2012)
Ali and his five-year-old son Sam come from Belgium to Antibes. He finds work as a bouncer in a Côte d’Azur nightclub. One night he rescues Stephanie from a violent situation. Stephanie trains killer whales at the Marineland park. One day Stephanie loses her legs in an accident with one of the orca whales. Ali helps her to reinvent her life. Eventually Ali becomes a martial fighter and Stephanie his manager.
