Wives, Etc. (1928)

A short sparkling "talkie," in which Charles Ruggles nearly talks himself to death. No, it's not quite that simple, either. He does the next worse thing: talks himself in and out of matrimony with three women in ten minutes. Fast worker, what? The skit smacks pleasantly of vaudeville, is ultra-sophisticated, with sharp, spicy lines that out-wise-crack each other. Step in where you see this billed.
