A fine melodrama well worth the seeing. The tawdry lives of three river people - a woman, a boy and a man, all shown with a note of gallantry. Jacqueline Logan reaches a high peak of emotionalism and Lionel Barrymore again proves himself the most important member of the royal family. The Charles Delaney smile grows more and more appealing. The force of this production lies in the manner in which the sordid river spirit is caught.
