Romance of a Rogue (1928)

The nice old gentleman wears a black velvet jacket, lives in an attic and plays the violin, but the locale of the story is London not Paris. That ought to hold you for awhile. But novelty like that can't last. H.B. Warner is falsely accused of a murder. Some day the hero is going to fire that fatal shot. Pretty terrible.
