An absorbing drama of backstage life, taken from Channing Pollock's play. The story gives a true and intimate glimpse of the actor-out-of-a-job, a brilliant defense of the greatly misunderstood Thespian ego. Virginia Valli is starred but Ian Keith dominates the picture. He is a strikingly heroic yet pathetic, figure, as the godson of the great Booth, who feels that his stage fame is hereditary and need not be earned.
