In spite of the fact that this Vitaphone offering is being heralded as Henry B. Walthal's "famous playlet," it turns out to be a luckely warm combination of morbid melodrama and forced, coy comedy. Walthall registers easily on the Vitaphone, and Tom McGuire has a fine voice but the two of them are hopelessly defeated here by the script.
