Brothers (1929)

Here's another brotherly love picture, the first of the new school (forsaking tradition and omitting the heroine) to be done by Rayart. And it's good. Arthur Rankin and Cornelius Keefe are brothers who are complete strangers to each other, until the college "grad" hears the crook's real name. It never descends into the maudlin. Barbara Bedford, the only woman in the picture, is one of the few leading women who have dared to play a "heavy."
