Side Street (1929)

This might have been a strong, swift-moving crime story if it hadn't been botched by bad recording, or something. We could hardly hear one word in twenty of the dialogue. It is No. 24689 of the current underworld yarns, and is only notable because the three Moores — Tom, Owen and Matt — all appear in it. It is the first Radio picture to be directed by the clever Mal St. Clair, but he won't brag about it much.
