Red Hot Rhythm (1929)

Technicolor sequences and cleverly staged dance numbers lift "Red Hot Rhythm" into an importance it could not otherwise attain. The story is a weak sister despite occasional flashes of brilliance. It is about a philandering song-writer. Alan Hale is the star, and he has quite a difficult time choosing between Kathryn Crawford and Josephine Dunn. Golly, wouldn't we all?
