Dangerous Females 1929

With Marie Dressier and Polly Moran in the same opera there's no chance for dullness. In "Dangerous Females," a bright Christie two-reeler, they undertake to entertain a stranger. Marie thinks he is an escaped convict, pulls an elderly Theda Bara, gets him tight on blackberry cordial and calls the sheriff, Polly, trusting soul, thinks he's the new evangelist and almost dies of shame. Snappy farce. All Talkie.
