Tina works as a car mechanic in a garage - but secretly, she yearns to be a pop star. She goes to the studios of Formula One, a popular TV music show, with a demo tape and sneaks in while a group is recording there. Stevie, a young recording engineer at the studio, accidentally erases Tina's tape and promises to make amends by trying to get her an audition.
