The Three Lives of Thomasina (1963)
Scotland, 1912: The villagers of Inveranoch are suspicious of the scientific methods used by their dour new veterinary surgeon Andrew MacDhui, a widower with a small daughter, Mary. They prefer to take their animals to the woodland cottage of Lori MacGregor, a pretty girl who has a way with animals. Matters come into a head when Mary's cat is injured.
