Planet X appeals to Earth for help in overcoming Ghidrah, a three-headed monster. Earth sends its own two most fearsome monsters, Godzilla and Rodan, into space to help out. But when they get there, all three monsters are programmed by the treacherous Planet X scientists to attack Earth.
