Damals (1943)
Vera Meiners was once a Swiss clinic doctor, married to Jan and with a daughter named Brigitte. Her life was happy until Jan caught her with her ex-lover, causing him to leave and falsely accusing her of cheating. Vera's life took a turn when she was fired for performing a surgery without consulting the head doctor. To support Brigitte, she was forced to move and change her life.
