Wayne's World (1992)

Wayne Campbell and Garth Algar host the show 'Wayne's World' on local cable television. The show airs from their basement in Aurora, Illinois (a Chicago suburb). They both still live with their parents, like to go to parties, play street hockey and listen to heavy metal.

One day the producer Benjamin Kane discovered the show and buys the rights for $10,000 keeping Wayne and Garth as hosts. Kane restructures the show, but all elements that made the show popular are lost . To return to the original format, Wayne and Garth try to take over and host an illegal broadcast from their own basement.

Based on a sketch in Saturday Night Live.
