Die Finanzen des Großherzogs (1924)
The charming and carefree Grand Duke of Abacco is in dire financial trouble. The state is unable to repay its debts, and its main creditor threatens to seize the entire duchy. A marriage to Grand Duchess Olga of Russia would solve all problems, but a critical letter regarding the engagement has been stolen. Meanwhile, a group of revolutionaries and a questionable businessman have their own plans for the Grand Duke. The arrival of adventurer Philipp Collins sets off a series of wild pursuits, schemes, and counter-schemes.
