Dirty Dancing (1987)
Late summer, 1963. Idealistic Frances 'Baby' Houseman, 17, arrives with her family for a vacation at Kellerman's Mountain House in the Catskill Mountains. Uninterested in the family games and dancing lessons on offer, Baby also resists her parents' attempt to pair her off with the owner's smarmy grandson. Stumbling on a party in the staff quarters, however, baby is introduced to 'dirty dancing' by Johnny Castle, the resort's resident dance teacher.
