Frau im Mond. (1929)

Professor Manfeldt is laughed at by the European scientific community for claiming that the moon is covered in gold. However, businessman Helius sees potential in Manfeldt's unappreciated genius and decides to team up with him for a space expedition. The journey is hindered by a gold cartel who wants to sabotage their efforts to preserve the value of their own gold and a young stowaway who is enamored with adventure stories. Helius' biggest challenge, however, is that Friede, the woman he loves, is also engaged to Manfeldt, and will be joining them on the journey.
