Tyrone Power - The Mark of Zorro




1940 adventure film that is based on the character Zorro, a heroic vigilante who fights against injustice in early 19th century California. The film follows the story of Don Diego de la Vega (played by Tyrone Power), a wealthy young man who lives in Los Angeles and is secretly the masked hero Zorro. When the corrupt Governor Alvarado (played by Basil Rathbone) arrives in Los Angeles, Zorro sets out to stop his evil plans and defend the people of California. Along the way, he battles Alvarado's henchmen and falls in love with a beautiful aristocrat named Lolita Pulido (played by Linda Darnell).
