Marcel Hamelinck suffers from a debilitating muscle condition, forcing him to retire from work. After his wife Denise passes away, he becomes fixated on his daughter-in-law Simone. Despite the toll it takes on his health, he persistently attempts to win her over, showering her with expensive gifts and constructing a pool for her to swim in. Once Simone allows him to touch her, Hamelinck desires nothing more than to be her slave. Simone takes advantage of the situation, while Marcel's health deteriorates.
