The Country Girl (1954)
Film version of Clifford Odet's poignant stage play about a faded, drunken stage star (Bing Crosby), his long suffering wife (Grace Kelly) and the young Broadway director (William Holden) who tries to help the actor recover some of his lost eminence by casting him in a big comeback role. 1
