Making Mr. Right (1987)
Dr. Ulysses, an emotionless scientist, creates a cybernetic replica of himself and hires a P.R. woman named Frankie to teach the robot about human behavior. However, the unexpected happens when the robot, Ulysses, develops feelings for Frankie, who is unsure about love and denies that the robot can have emotions for her.
