Swing Shift (1984)
California in 1941. There couldn't be two more contrasting young women than housewife Kay Walsh and dance-hall hostess Hazel Zanussi. But when they and other girls are thrown together on the assembly line of the local aircraft-component factory, it's Kay who plunges headlong into an affair while her husband is away fighting the war.
