Dragonheart (1996)
In a period after the decline of Arthur's Round Table and the code of justice it upheld, peasants rise up against and kill a tyrannical king, wounding his son Einon at the same time. Queen Aislinn convinces a mighty dragon to share his heart with the prince so that he might be healed. The dragon agrees, but Einon becomes a crueler tyrant than his father. His nemesis eventually becomes Bowen, his former tutor, who madly chases around the country, killing dragons for bounty. Bowen and the last dragon, Draco, join forces at first for their mutual financial benefit and then in order to defeat Einon who can only be killed when Draco is killed since they share the same heart. 1
