More or less familiar story about a darker Africa safari with scientist's wife Grace Kelly falling in love with the tough, taciturn white hunter Clark Gable, and stranded good-time girl Ava Gardner doing the same thing a wonderful, witty and beautifully timed performance stealing all the acting honours. Background is the Technicolored gorilla country, with plenty of footage of all kinds of wild animals. 1
